I joined Washington State Employment Security Department in May 2022 as the Administrative Assistant supporting North Sound Region’s WDA-3. I am honored to support three different locations: WorkSource Skagit, Whatcom and Island counties. Prior to joining my team, I was an Admin Assistant to a handful of medical directors for Optum Care and was a Technical Assistant and Logistics Rep for a local aerospace company, Rolls-Royce North America, for 14 years.
I am due to graduate from Southern New Hampshire University, where I have been taking my bachelors in General Studies with a concentration in Human Resources.
I am an empty-nester currently living in Mount Vernon with my partner, my two cats, and a large yard. When I’m not keeping busy with my schoolwork, you can find me slaving away in my yard where I like to grow my own veggies and fruits.
